Role and Responsibilities:
We are a global cyber-security startup looking for a Helpdesk Team Leader to manage our global helpdesk operations. The role involves managing a team of two employees in Israel, one in the U.S., and future hires in EMEA. The position focuses solely on helpdesk management, with no involvement in system administration or IT infrastructure.As a Helpdesk Team Leader, you will:
  • Oversee remote and on-site service desk operations.
  • Manage end-user support globally and maintain high service standards.
  • Administer IT assets and support endpoint management solutions across various operating systems.
  • Collaborate with HR and hiring teams to expand the helpdesk team globally.
  • Foster strong relationships with end users to ensure seamless support experiences.
Please note: This role is specifically focused on managing helpdesk operations and is therefore better suited for candidates with relevant experience in global high-tech environments.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role in high-tech companies.
  • Proven experience managing global teams, with direct reports in multiple regions.
  • Strong vendor management and procurement skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with end users.
  • Experience with service desk operations and IT asset management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, FreshService, Jira Service Management).
  • Hands-on experience managing SaaS platforms and directory systems (e.g., Azure Active Directory, Okta).
  • High-level proficiency in English – must.
