About the Role:

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will:

• Develop and scale distributed systems using a Go-first stack, with opportunities to work across multiple programming languages.
• Dive deep into Kubernetes and the cloud-native ecosystem to create innovative solutions.
• Contribute to and shape the future of open-source projects that define observability standards globally.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend development experience, focusing on distributed systems or cloud-native technologies.
• Proficiency in Go (or experience in Rust, Java, or C++ with a willingness to learn Go).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and scalability principles.
• Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry or observability tools is an advantage.
• Passion for contributing to open-source projects, with prior experience being a huge plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, self-driven mindset.
