Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, providing guidance and support to foster their growth and success.
Oversee the full data science lifecycle, including problem definition, data collection, model development, evaluation, and deployment.
Design, develop, and optimize cutting-edge machine learning and deep learning algorithms, with a primary focus on NLP, as well as additional domains such as audio, computer vision, and classic ML.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, DevOps, and product management, to identify data-driven opportunities and deliver impactful solutions.
Effectively communicate complex data science concepts, methodologies, and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and innovation within the data science team.
Define and manage project goals, timelines, deliverables, and resources to align with organizational priorities.
Drive the adoption and improvement of advanced data science methodologies, tools, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
7+ years of experience as a data scientist, including at least 2 years in a team management role.
Strong programming skills in Python, with hands-on experience using HuggingFace libraries such as Transformers, Datasets, Peft, etc. or similar NLP libraries.
Extensive experience working with large language models (LLMs) and transformer-based models like GPT, BERT, and similar architectures.
Hands-on expertise in developing deep learning algorithms using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Solid experience with unsupervised learning techniques, including clustering, anomaly detection, and other advanced methods.
Experience working with various databases and technologies for managing and querying large datasets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
